Collagen levels in the skin decline as we age, and new collagen can be produced when the skin is in repair mode.
Microneedling is used to treat a variety of skin conditions that cause depressions in the skin such as acne scars, surgical scars, burns, enlarged pores, wrinkles, and stretch marks.
Microneedling may work better for people with darker skin tones because it doesn’t involve heat the way laser treatments do, which can affect your skin’s pigmentation or color.

Precise and minimal pain
Because microneedling does not deliver heat to the skin as lasers do, people with melasma (dark patches of skin) and hyperpigmentation (dark spots on the skin) can undergo microneedling without the risk of worsening pigmentation problems. (Darker skin is susceptible to pigmentation changes as a post-inflammatory response.)
Youthful glow
The dual mechanism with precision cooling helps to fight inflammation and brighten skin to give you back your youthful glow.
Best for your skin and budget
Microneedling is less expensive than laser treatments, which can cost about four times as much. It also typically has a shorter recovery time than the lasers or chemical peels.

How does Microneedling work?
By creating tiny punctures in the skin using micro-fine needles, the process allows for controlled induction of the skin’s self-repair process, automatically triggering new collagen synthesis. Microneedling will reduce fine lines, soften deeper wrinkles, rid your skin of acne scars, smooth skin textures, and irregularities, and reduce brown spots or pigmentation concerns.
Post-Treatment aftercare
Do not take any anti-inflammatory medications for one week after the procedure. Do not use ice on your face, and avoid using arnica/bromelain. These may interfere with the natural inflammatory process, and that’s critical for your skin rejuvenation. Avoid sun tanning and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight for at least two weeks. Always use sunblock (30 SPF or higher) and wear a hat if you’re outside.
